Applications and membership

Applying to join The SWELL, a drop-in day, an event, or the advisor lineup does not guarantee acceptance. We may accept, decline, or end participation at our discretion, including for conduct that conflicts with the community's values.

Payments

Membership fees, drop-in fees, and other charges are described at the point of sign-up. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. Third-party payment processors handle transactions under their own terms.

Community conduct

The SWELL is a professional, respectful space. Harassment, discrimination, and behavior that harms other members are not tolerated and may result in removal without refund.

Intellectual property

The site's content, logos, and design are owned by The SWELL or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a limited license to use it for operating the community (for example, listing your business in the member directory with your consent).

Third-party services

The site links to third-party services such as SURF Incubator, Luma, and payment providers. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site and community are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific business, funding, or networking outcomes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The SWELL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in the community.
